Responsibilities:
• Managing commercial vehicles with a high degree of safety.
• Prior to and after each journey, make sure to perform a detailed examination of the automobile.
• Establish a route plan and delivery schedule to meet delivery expectations and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Properly load, unload, and secure all types of cargo to ensure safe transportation.
• Coordination of deliveries is fostered by establishing clear communication pathways with dispatchers and customers.
• Accurately document your hours worked and the repairs and upkeep completed on your vehicle to avoid misunderstandings.
• Ensure that you follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations at all times.
• It is essential to immediately notify authorities of any vehicle concerns, crashes, or infringements.
• Give your customers an unforgettable experience by offering personalized attention, prompt responses, and helpful solutions.
Qualifications:
• Possessing a certified Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• Successfully passing a drug test and meeting the necessary criteria for a DOT physical is a key component in starting a career in certain fields.
• Understanding compliance with DOT regulations and safety guidelines is critical for any transportation company.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Competence to hoist and transfer hefty loads.
• Remarkable proficiency in communication and customer care.
