Position Summary

Our client, who is in the media space, is looking for a Data Analyst to join their new analytics team to support business insights with analysis and reporting. During the first phase of this project, this team will help ingest, integrate, and establish foundational data products for new datasets. This is a high profile project so the ideal candidate will be confident, a strong communicator, possess strong business acumen, and the ability to support analytical needs across the org. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with working with large unstructured datasets and identifying key metrics.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business and technical data stakeholders including but not limited to: data engineers, data architects, data modelers, business intelligence teams, and executives
• Gather and document data requirements, definitions, and usages
• Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models
• Ensure seamless integration, data flow, and data analysis across the enterprise
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify data patterns, relationships, and anomalies
• Ensure data integrity and quality across all data sources
• Communicate data and insights in meetings, emails, and presentations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sets, data metrics, formulas, and report properties
• Understand and promote best practices for data management, data metrics, data analysis and insights

Minimum Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
• 3-5 years professional experience
• Experience with data visualization tools like Domo or Tableau
• Familiarity with SQL and cloud-based data warehouse (ex. Snowflake)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed data analysis and derive insights from complex data sets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and an analytical mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

Additional Plus:
• Understanding of the media industry, topics, and trends including content, marketing, advertising, branding, experience, and consumer technology
• Familiarity with WideOrbit

Salary / Wage Range

$40.00—$55.00/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
