Systems Optimization Consultant I
What does a Systems Optimization Consultant do at Fiserv:
As a Systems Optimization Consultant, you will work in a consultative role to credit unions of varying types and sizes and discover the challenges a client is facing with their current use of the Portico system through interviews and observation of the credit union’s executive team and staff. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of the Portico core account processing solution along with multiple Fiserv surround products to provide solutions to the issues and assist the client in achieving their overall strategic goals along with improving their daily operations.
What you will do:
• Performing best practice reviews to optimize the client's system utilization, resulting in increased client satisfaction and Fiserv wallet share.
• Documenting and presenting findings to gain client buy-in and increase the use of Fiserv products.
• Working closely with various teams throughout Fiserv, including product development, professional services, relationship managers, and account managers with the goal of exceeding client commitments and expectations.
• Maintaining an ongoing knowledge of Fiserv product lines (Portico and high priority surround products) along with an understanding of future enhancements that will be added to the software.
• Participating in Fiserv client conferences and regional meetings.
• Engage with clients and Fiserv associates with high energy and hold yourself accountable to very high personal standards.
• Quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies.
• Use independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions.
What you will need to have:
• 6-10 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
• 5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably with credit union experience.
• Knowledge of the Portico Account Processing system.
• Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills to a wide variety of audiences.

Travel Required: 50% travel that may include weekends and holidays.
