Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 8-10 years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Desired Skills
In-depth knowledge of Pentaho ETL tool
Strong development experience in writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, packages and debugging the code
Strong development experience working with BigData DBs preferable HP Vertica
Strong development experience working with Exadata Oracle
Working knowledge of source control tools such as Harvest and GitLab
Working knowledge of messaging technologies, such as IBM MQ and Apache Kafka
Experience in creating documents like requirement document, functional/technical specs, use case, test plans, data flow diagrams etc. for allotted projects
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, onshore/offshore model
Effectively communicate and understand project requirements
Ability to self-manage development projects with good turn-around time
