I have small operation where I help technology companies to secure funding for their projects, one aspect of the process is technical description of their project(s).
I am looking to add another technical writer to my team.
Who am I looking for:
1.Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
2. At least 5 years’ experience in Technical Writing.
3. A quick learner with ability to work independently and research new topics as needed.
The project descriptions must adhere to a specific format (up to 1,400 words max) and are company and project specific. I work with a diverse range of clients that are developing cutting edge technologies in areas such as: Ag-tech, Energy, Health-tech, SW and Apps, Remote Sensing, Robotics and more.
I already have projects lined up, so starting date can be very soon. I expect there to be some learning curve and I am fine with that and will provide hand holding as needed, but the goal is for you to be independent after a couple of projects.
If it goes well, this can become a long-term position (on a contract basis) since my business has been growing pretty steadily so far.
I am happy to pay market rate, whether it is an hourly rate or a flat fee per project (or a combination of the two).
