I made POS system for takeaway restaurants, developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). I am looking for a skilled Machine Learning/Data Science Developer to implement a recommendation product card feature. This feature will provide real-time product recommendations based on items currently being selected for an order, using the item-based collaborative filtering algorithm.
• *Responsibilities:**
- Develop and integrate a recommendation system into the existing POS using the item-based collaborative filtering algorithm.
- Extract and preprocess transaction data from MongoDB.
- Calculate item similarities and generate real-time recommendations.
- Develop an API endpoint with Node.js and Express.js.
- Create React components to display recommended items dynamically.
So if you are expert in. MERN stack and ML, probably this job fits you. I would like to check your work first. This is a small task everything is already built you just need to implement ML algorithm in it.
