Our client is an industry leading consumer goods (B2B) organisation providing products/services to some of the worlds most recognisable brands.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group CMO, the Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and maximise sales. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in global marketing, a deep understanding of the B2B consumer goods industry, comfortable running successful marketing campaigns.
• Strategic Marketing Leadership:
• Develop and implement global marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead the creation of innovative marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and effectiveness of marketing efforts across different markets.
• Brand Management:
• Oversee brand positioning, ensuring the company's image is consistently represented across all channels.
• Manage brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all marketing materials and communications.
• Lead initiatives to enhance brand equity and market share.
• Market Analysis and Insights:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making processes.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary.
• Digital Marketing and E-commerce:
• Drive digital marketing strategies including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Oversee the development and optimisation of the company's e-commerce platforms.
• Utilise digital tools and technologies to enhance customer engagement and sales.
• Partnerships and Collaborations:
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, brands, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:
• Degree holder in related field and at least 7-10 years hands-on professional experience in the field
• Proven & hands-on track record in developing and implementing a holistic marketing & communication strategy with international brand(s)
• Excellent verbal and written communicator and presenter, creative thinker and team player
• Excellent project management & organisational skills and strong interest in the organisation's mission
• Experience managing website content & high level of comfort with social media and online community building
• Experience planning and implementing special events / exhibition and working with relevant vendors
• Strong desktop design and publishing skills
• Experience assembling and managing budgets
• Well organised, detail oriented, strong entrepreneurial drive and embraces challenges
• Excellent native English speaker (preferably international background)
