The Role:
You will be working on several projects, helping to create innovative applications, products and solutions. One specific application that you will be working on, is a progressive web application. Experience with the latest technologies is a must, whilst you will also being given the opportunity to suggest process/system improvements. Responsibility:
• Contribute and lead a significant part of the implementation and deployment of services within the Scala team.
• Apply principled engineering practices including unit testing, integration testing, continuous integration and support others in the team
• Develop your technical understanding to support the wider team goals.
• Act as a mentor and an example to others in your team and across the organisation.
Skills:
• Functional (FP) Scala coding experience
• Experience creating scalable and reactive web applications with modern frameworks
• Cloud technology experience (AWS)
• Git experience
• TDD or BDD experience
• Ability to demonstrate high-quality coding and testing practices.
This role is initially a 12-month contract, but is very likely to extend beyond this period
