The Lead Business Analyst will provide direct support to the Assistant Vice President and Business Operations Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank Facilities Management + Environmental Health and Safety group. This position will work closely with leadership, construction project managers and our customers to analyze needs, interdependencies, and expectations. They will use this information to determine and apply the best approach to enhance collaboration and mitigate expectational gaps. They will lead the development of processes and operational improvements to include customer project management, service level agreements, budgetary development and strategic direction. Applying advanced business line knowledge, the successful candidate will work to continually improve efficiency and performance, and to model tactical strategies both internally and for our customers. This role will lead special efforts and projects comprised of diverse teams having significant and broad strategic impact upon operations. This role is highly collaborative and customer focused, and the successful candidate will work closely with customers and cross functional leaders to actively listen, interpret needs, and convey a sense of duty. Additionally, cross-functional work with team members will be critical to convey processes and resource availability. In turn, the candidate should have the ability to model potential business strategies and lead the mitigation of obstacles that hinder efficient utilization of these resources. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, future focused, and have advanced skills and experience in communications and collaboration that will lead to the improvement of cross functional relationships and overall efficiencies and performance. Essential Responsibilities: Partners with Facilities Management, key stakeholders, sometimes incorporating external parties, and the Facilities Capital Planning & Strategy function to determine needs and expectations for all aspects of project management, services needed and uses this information to further collaboration and efficiencies for the Group. Works alongside the Lead Financial Analysts in the Group to learn and develop both capital and expense budgets, including creation and updating of tactical plan, incorporation of bank wide and customer related projects and service needs. Leads broad and diverse team projects/programs to address business issues; project manage ongoing initiatives via meeting management, document organization, and follow ups. Partners with cross-functional leaders to ensure successful project/program completion. Develops forecasts, insights, gap analysis, recommendations, future needs, and strategic and/or tactical plans based on business data, and knowledge of business processes/operations. Understands and ensures spend stewardship is incorporated into the strategic planning for the Group. Partners with stakeholders in the development, rollout, and maintenance of stakeholder service matrix and service level agreements. Continually evaluates effectiveness of processes, collaboration efforts, and communication strategies by gathering internal and customer feedback Develops recommendations to mitigate gaps promoting continual improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 8+ years of relevant work experience. Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels. Demonstrated critical thinking skills with ability to assimilate data and information to enhance effectiveness of processes. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform well under pressure while managing multiple priorities with competing demand for resources. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple diverse projects timely. Individuals who need immigration sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for this position. Experience with SLA's Preferred: Project Management Experience. Budgeting Experience. Base Salary Range: Min: $117,800 - Mid: $153,000 - Max: $188,200 (Location: San Francisco) Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
