As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of this state-of-the-art pharmacy, serving the local community. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and efficient service.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain accurate records and optimize inventory.
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and conduct medication reviews, including checking for drug interactions.
• Provide immunizations under defined protocols and offer personalized consultations to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects.
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students, ensuring compliance with licensure and education requirements.
• Engage with the community through outreach events and build relationships with healthcare providers to promote pharmacy services.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah.
• Licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and pharmacy software.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Three years or more experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• APhA Immunization Certification.
• Prior pharmacy management experience.
