About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support cyber technology projects. This role provides the opportunity to define future technology projects and programs, working as part of a team to drive change. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, clarifying, translating, and communicating the requirements necessary to transform our existing technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage Stakeholders:
• Work across the business to understand stakeholder needs.
• Map stakeholder needs to functions.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the project or program team.
Analyse and Clarify Existing Systems:
• Evaluate existing applications and processes using technical specifications, process flows, and system maps.
• Identify areas working well alongside areas for enhancement.
• Work with teams to propose solutions and improvements.
Define, Document, and Prioritise Requirements:
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear and concise requirements (both functional and non-functional).
• Apply prioritisation frameworks to assist with scope definition.
• Provide input to scope-based decisions.
Support Solution Generation:
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Map technical solutions back to requirements to ensure they meet business needs.
Coordination and Reporting:
• Generate reports and graphics to support project decision-making.
• Provide teams with wider context through research and analysis.
• Support teams across the delivery cycle with project context and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in cyber technology projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse and clarify complex systems.
• Excellent documentation and requirement translation skills.
• Familiarity with prioritisation frameworks.
• Experience in coordinating and reporting for project teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with technology teams to support solution generation.
• Proficiency in generating reports and supporting project decision-making.
