Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive with a robust background in cybersecurity or IT services. The ideal candidate will have previously held a senior role such as CIO or CISO, or has been a successful business development executive for a security or IT vendor. This individual should possess strong relationships with executives in the IT or cybersecurity space and be capable of driving significant revenue growth. The role involves understanding Covenant's business, identifying new business opportunities, and leveraging existing relationships to establish partnerships and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and expand Covenant Technologies' client base, focusing on IT and cybersecurity staffing solutions.
Relationship Building: Leverage existing relationships with IT and cybersecurity executives to identify potential clients and secure new business opportunities.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth within the cybersecurity and IT staffing sectors.
Client Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their staffing needs, present customized solutions, and negotiate contracts.
Compensation Management: Manage a combination of base salary and commission structure, aligning compensation with performance metrics and revenue targets.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover of new clients and proper execution of staffing solutions.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline development. Provide regular updates to the senior management team.
Qualifications:
Experience: Retired CIO/CISO or seasoned Business Development Executive with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity sectors.
Network: Strong existing network of senior IT and cybersecurity professionals.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage complex client relationships.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, IT staffing solutions, and market trends.
Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality.
