Job Description: Position Description: Performs software testing and delivery in an Agile environment using Object-Oriented languages, SOAP, and RESTful Web Services. Develops Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software development and delivery pipelines according to DevOps methodologies using GIT and Jenkins. Builds test automation frameworks to perform manual and automated tests. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and supporting data integration and reporting platforms using Informatica, PLSQL, and Oracle database in an Information Technology environment. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and supporting data integration and reporting platforms using Informatica, PLSQL, and Oracle database in an Information Technology environment. Or, alternatively, No degree and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing and supporting data integration and reporting platforms using Informatica, PLSQL, and Oracle database in an Information Technology environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks using open-source tools -- Python, Java, RESTAssured, Cucumber, and Selenium --within an Agile development environment. DE implementing DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using industry standard tools -- Git Stash, uDeploy, and Jenkins Core -- within an Agile development environment. DE developing and testing source to target data transitions -- ETL transformations -- using PL/SQL, Python, ICEDQ, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Simple Storage Testing (S3), Informatica, and Snowflake.
