Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with WAN Teams to establish and maintain cross-campus connectivity.
• Support High-Performance Computing (HPC) by profiling GPU nodes.
• Coordinate with Cabling Vendors to ensure accurate Bill of Materials (BoM) and cable design.
• Rack and cable a large inventory of servers, switches, PDUs, and infrastructure.
• Perform initial configurations for new devices and installations.
• Assist in Data Center capacity planning and expansion.
• Manage hardware-related issues and vendor RMAs.
• Handle service requests and change requests using internal ticketing systems.
• Conduct hardware quality assurance checks before deployment in production environments.
• Implement and uphold best practices for maintaining Data Center environments.
• Install Fiber and Copper cabling, including jumpers and trunks.
• Process tickets for new installations, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
• Perform server rack and stack operations, including power whip installation and cable management.
• Create and update change requests according to Data Center policies.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues such as faulty SFPs, fiber cables, or device configurations.
• Coordinate with various departments to address hardware needs within the Data Center.
• Utilize DCIM tools for daily operations.
• Facilitate future growth and resource utilization planning.
• Engage with hardware vendors for RMA replacements.
• Provide feedback to optimize installation time and cooling efficiency.
• Install SM & MM Fiber Cables.
• Review cutsheets, plan routes, and install equipment.
• Perform server rack and stack installations and migrations.
• Handle DCIM and DSO-I tickets related to cable installations and troubleshooting.

Requirements:
• Experience in Data Center operations, including rack and stack, cabling, and hardware installations.
• Familiarity with WAN and HPC environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and connectivity issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to Datacenter locations within and outside North America.
