Description:
A large Fitness company seeks an eager Procurement Analyst to join the growing Corporate Procurement & Operations team. Based in our New York Headquarters, you will report into a Manager and will be responsible for supporting the strategies of the Corporate Procurement teams, helping our business partners manage spend efficiently. Th role will focus heavily on indirect spend categories but support other indirect spend areas (Logistics, Marketing, etc.) as needed.
Responsibilities:
Analytics & Reporting
• Perform spend analytics and reporting as needed for Business Unit owners and Procurement stakeholders. Da sources may include both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as spend data, RFP results, supplier performance metrics, or other data
• Be able to review data, draw conclusions, and present to an executive audience. Anaytics and recommendations will be used to drive sourcing decisions and business unit updates.
• Create/manage project dashboards to enable effective project management for all related sourcing activities.
• Assist team members from supported business units with tactical purchasing requests and supplier escalations.
• Become a subject matter expert in our procurement applications (Coupa, Parabola, Looker, Netsuite).
Sourcing & Supply Management
• Support sourcing events, including RFI, RFQ, RFP, e-auctions, and direct negotiations. So cing events may take place within the P2P tool or offline
• Identify opportunities for sourcing and process improvements; support implementation of such opportunities as needed.
• Build relationships with internal customers and act as the first point of contact for P2P or Procurement questions.
• Support responsible sourcing efforts and sustainability by reviewing new supplier certifications and assisting business partners with identifying potential suppliers
Must-Have:
• 2-5 years of reviewing data and being able to identify opportunities via spend analysis
• 2-5 years of experience with RFPs (Request for proposals) or RFIs (Request for information)
• 2-5 years of experience utilizing Excel / Google Sheets-Strong Excel exp
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Coupa or P2P system experience is beneficial
• 2-5 years of Procurement Experience within the Logistics and marketing space or professional services.
• Great working experience with Microsoft Excel and interest in data. Experience in analytics tools such as Tableau is also beneficial but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting to groups, leading projects, and operating in matrixed teams. PowerPoint/Google Slides competency is required
• Ability to work independently in a changing and fast-paced environment. You should have the ability to juggle multiple projects at various phases
• Act as a self-starter and team player and hold a customer service mindset
