Job Title: Business Development Manager/Commercial Officer

Location: New York, US – 57th Street

Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager/Commercial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving client acquisition, forming strategic business partnerships, and advising the directors on key initiatives for business development. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to enhance revenue growth, expand market reach, and optimize overall commercial performance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to scale the business, leveraging your deep understanding of the luxury market, high-net-worth individuals (HNI), and innovative direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with overall commercial goals, driving growth in both D2C and B2B channels.

Client Acquisition: Spearhead efforts to attract and acquire new clients, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and luxury markets, both domestically and internationally.

Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic business partnerships that enhance brand positioning and expand the company's market presence.

Advisory Role: Act as a strategic advisor to the directors, championing initiatives that drive business development and advising on potential growth opportunities.

Revenue Growth: Drive revenue through innovative sales strategies, including digital marketing, e- commerce optimization, and customer engagement initiatives.

Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and drive international expansion.

Brand Development: Enhance brand positioning through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and high-impact marketing campaigns.

Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional and consistent customer experience across all touchpoints, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Omnichannel Potential: Develop and execute plans to expand the brand’s presence in brick-and-mortar retail, integrating online and offline experiences.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development and commercial activities, making data-driven decisions.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team focused on business development, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration qualifications.

Requirements (Experience & Skills):

Experience: 7-10+ years of senior management experience in the luxury fashion or fragrance industry, with a strong focus on business development and strategic partnerships.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and scale business development teams in a high-growth environment.

Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that drive client acquisition and market expansion.

Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and customer engagement strategies.

Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial concept related to revenue management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Omnichannel Experience: Proven ability to develop and implement omnichannel strategies, integrating online and offline customer experiences.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
