Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Risk team. The ideal candidate will support the analysis, planning, and risk management functions of our finance department, contributing to our strategic financial goals and ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to support business decisions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and help in developing strategies to mitigate these risks. Assist in the creation of risk assessment reports and dashboards.
• Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of financial planning and analysis processes, suggesting and implementing best practices.
• Support: Provide analytical support for various financial projects and ad-hoc analysis as required by senior analysts and management.
• Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance or related analytical roles. Internships or coursework related to financial planning and risk are beneficial.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
