Hello, I am looking to cast a crowd of people (approx 30-50 people) to create an iconic dance scene from an old school hip-hop video. This will be shot in front of the world famous Apollo theater in Harlem. Please watch the video below and go to the 25 second mark where the crowd is in front of the Apollo theater sign doing a simple 2-step dance move. This is what we will be doing. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A GREAT DANCER FOR THIS SCENE :-). As long as you are able to do a variation of the simple 2-step shown in the video (below), you will be great!! I am looking for guys and girls from all backgrounds!!
Participation in this project will be on a voluntary basis as there is really no budget for the video and this will be a very in & out scene shoot. We anticipate that it will take no longer than an 1 to 2 hrs to complete.
The tentative date for this shoot is Sunday, Aug 25th, 5:30PM
• *There is no "dress code" so to speak, just come dressed comfortably in your regular street clothes. The idea is to make this look like a bunch of regular people having a good time.
