Seeking a dedicated Chemist to manage and direct laboratory operations, particularly when the manager is absent. Responsibilities include backing up most tests, diluting samples, pipetting, performing advanced applications such as GCMS, ICPMS, IC, troubleshooting and maintaining instruments, training analysts, reviewing reports, managing special projects, and providing customer support via telephone. The role also involves contributing to performance evaluations and assisting in other lab areas as needed.
Must Haves
• At least 4 years of Chemistry Bench work using HPLC, ICP-MS, IC, or HPLC outside of school)
• A Bachelor or Masters of Science in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, etc.
• Previous experience with EPA or FDA audits.
• Previous water testing is a plus.
