Hop Lun is a vertical and global manufacturing leader, specializing in Intimates, Swimwear, and Activewear categories We partner with some of the top US retailers and companies across all channels, such as Walmart, Target, PVH, VS, Alo and Skims.
In Q4 2024, We are opening up a 10,000 ft space in Manhattan - a product development Lab, sample room and showroom to support both existing and new accounts. We are actively seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our growing US team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Sales Manager | Director with at least 8+ years’ experience directly managing accounts, with current relationships at department store, big box retailers and off price.
A Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue (growth) and achieving business objectives.
Activewear, Swimwear, Intimates category preferred
Private Label Experience Required
Growth
Meet or Exceed sales goals, and performance targets.
Create and cultivate strong relationships with existing wholesale partners for all sales channels and markets. Book appointments with Buyers seasonally and when needed
Maximize revenue by understanding the customer, analyzing the (account's) business and providing data to trigger reorders and/or create new category opportunities
Work with Head of Sales and Merchandising teams to identify opportunities within current account base (product or strategies) as well as market segmentation that supports the company goals
Generate new business opportunities at the account, product, market levels.
Develop Go To Market strategies to support adoption of initiatives to drive sales and/or strengthen partnerships.
Strategy
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth at the micro and macro levels and within each Market, Product, and customer segments.
Partner with Sales lead, merchandsing and planning to define and build differentiated merchandise strategies by account
Develop account specific product initiatives to drive profitable sales.
Sharp retail math skills, along with strong merchandising, private label, and category management to drive growth through new categories, initiatives and reorders
Team
Inspire a high-performing product and merchandising team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities, and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Collaborate with internal teams such as design, production, operations and finance to ensure alignment and support all initiatives and strategies.
Skills
Strong and effective communication skills to lead and manage internal teams and accounts.
Excellent Presentation skills, with ability to influence colleagues and peers
Can pivot with market and industry changes
Adept at problem solving and negotiation
Highly motivated and organized; Strong attention to detail
Details
Position is based in Manhattan and Required on site 5 days (unless traveling)
Travel is required 25-50%, based on market, seasonal and account needs
Reports to Head of Sales and Merchandising (NY based)
Salary Range $90 - $145K (DOE) + bonus
