An education network in Westchester County is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Junior Project Manager to their team. They will play a pivotal role in coordinating wide area networking initiatives.
Responsibilities
The Junior Project Manager will:
• Coordinate with the wide area networking team to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to review progress, identify risks, and address issues.
• Support the implementation of initiatives such as bandwidth upgrades, firewall configurations, and WAN link enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and communication.
• Assist in documenting project requirements, processes, and outcomes.
• Provide administrative support to the project management office as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of technology concepts and networking principles preferred.
